Recently, I was moved by a warming news. A boy from America was loved by a lot of soldiers. The boy's father was a policeman and he was sent to a foreign country to carry the mission. Unluckily, he got shot and died. The world was sad for him. This man left his wife and a small boy forever. The lucky thing for the little boy was that his father's colleagues decided to protect and love this boy until he grew up. Love has been continued from this story. For most people, they are lucky to be loved by parents and friends. While for few people, who have gone through some disasters, they got care from the public. So no matter what kind of difficulty we will face, we can't give up hope, because there is always someone love us.

I live with my parents and my grandmother. My grandmother is a kind elderly people. She likes talking and she always tells me stories of hers, my father’s and mine. She is full filled with memories. She told me that I was quiet and docile when I was little. My parents went to work all day, and my grandmother took care of me and my cousin. After she fed me, I sat and played myself. She didn’t have to worry much about me. I almost made no troubles. But my cousin was not. He never sat well or ate his food tactfully. My grandmother had to always keep an eye on him to prevent making troubles. But, there was one thing drove her crazy. That was I didn’t like going to school. When I was at the school age, my parents sent me to school. But I cried every morning when I arrived at school. They had to comfort me for a long time to bring me into classroom. After two or three months later, the situation became good. I like my grandmother sharing the stories with me. It makes me warm and beloved.

When a couple gets married, it is natural for them to receive wishes from relatives and friends. Recently, a young couple showed the message of their coming wedding, but the public criticized the man, because they believed he was committing crime as he fell in love with a girl when she was 8 years old.

The man and the little girl’s story seems to be romantic. But thinking of the girl’s young age when they met, and she was just a little girl, it is unbelievable. Though now she is almost 18, their story worries so many parents. They are so afraid of the negative information releases to the young children, when they don’t know the concept of love. From 8 to 18, the girl’s growing period is accompanied by this man who is much older than her, while I don’t favor of this way.

The girl was misled by the wrong conception. Someone told her when she was 18, they would be married. As she is young and innocent, even she is 18, she doesn’t have much chance to see the variety of the world. The way she sees the world is misled by this elder man.

A child’s growing up should be natural and led by the right value.

Uncle Harry had no answering machine because hardly anyone ever called. Most of his friends and relatives were already dead. He had outlived them all, even though he smoked and drank most of his life. So much for all their talk about clean living, he sometimes thought.

The only person who talked to Uncle Harry regularly was his nephew Teddy. Teddy called several times a week, just for a few minutes to say hello and see if everything was OK. Some days Teddy had to call twice or more because Uncle Harry didn't answer the first phone call. When he finally did get through, Uncle Harry would chastise Teddy for his bad timing. “How do you always manage to call me when I'm in the bathroom?” he would ask.

Tuesday morning, Teddy let the phone ring ten times. He then hung up and went back to work. That afternoon he called Uncle Harry again. Again, no answer. A couple of hours later, he called again. Still no answer. He called Ira, Uncle Harry’s next-door neighbor.

“Hello,” said Ira.

“Hi, Ira, this is Teddy.”

“Hi, Teddy. How are you?”

“Oh, I’m fine, Ira. But I’m a little worried about Uncle Harry. I called him three times today and he didn’t answer once. I don’t think he could have been in the bathroom all three times, do you?”

“No, I don’t think so,” laughed Ira. “He does complain about that, doesn’t he? Anyway, I’ll go next door and see what’s up. If he doesn’t open the door, I know where he hides his spare key. I’ll call you back in a bit, okay?”

“Okay, Ira. Thanks a lot,” Teddy said.

A while later, Teddy’s phone rang. It was Ira. He sounded shaken. “Teddy, I’m sorry it took so long. I have bad news. Harry didn't answer the door, so I used his spare key. He was dead, Teddy. I’m sorry.”

“Oh, my gosh! That’s terrible!”

“I called the hospital, and they told me to call the coroner’s office. The coroner said they were busy, and wouldn’t be able to make it here until tomorrow or the day after.”

“What happened? Did he fall? Did he die in his sleep? Is he lying on the bed with a peaceful look on his face?”

“Not exactly, Teddy. He’s lying on the bathroom floor with a look of surprise on his face. We can move him to his bed later. But right now I’ve got to go home, Teddy. I think I might be in shock or something. I don’t feel right.”

As a small child, I always wanted to grow up soon, so that I could make my own money and became independent. So I had worked so hard to let my parents to realize that I have grown up, such as washing my clothes and taking care of myself. Indeed, I won respect step by step. Finally, when I went to high school, they allowed me to live in school. I felt so happy to move out. When I lived in school, strangely, I started to miss my parents and wanted to see them. I spent so much time to get away from them, but when I did it, I felt lost. This is my story about growing up, I believe most children struggle running away from their parents, but when they really grow up, they will miss the ones who love them.
