The best way to teach children to cooperate is through team sports at school. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There is too much debate about whether children should be learned to be more competitive or cooperative members of society. In my opinion, both behaviours are important and cooperation is more important than competition.

关于孩子应该学会成为社会上更有竞争力的人还是更愿意合作的人，存在着太多的争论。在我看来，这两种行为都很重要，合作比竞争更重要。

On one hand, as we live in the very competitive society, we need to teach our children the sense of competition in a positive way. The most obvious advantage to encourage competition among children is that it makes them more creative and open minded and opens the doors for better future opportunities for them. For illustration, children work hard in the study because they compete with other classmates to receive high marks, this will help them to get a very good job in the future. Moreover, they become more independent and rely on themselves because they know that nobody else will be there to do their duties.

一方面，由于我们生活在一个竞争激烈的社会，我们需要以积极的方式教育我们的孩子竞争意识。鼓励儿童之间的竞争最明显的优势是，它使他们更有创造力和更开放的思想，并为他们未来更好的机会打开大门。举例来说，孩子们在学习中努力学习，因为他们与其他同学竞争获得高分，这将帮助他们在未来得到一份很好的工作。此外，他们变得更加独立和依赖自己，因为他们知道没有人会在那里履行他们的职责。

On the other hand, I believe that cooperation is mandatory to be encouraged for many reasons. Firstly, cooperation helps children to learn from each other. For example, when I was at school team, I learned how to play table tennis with my friends and we learn a lot of skills from each other and when we play in the final round with other school teams, we get a very good score in the final. Secondly, cooperation teaches children the skills linked to sharing, as a result, they become a kind member of society. Finally, cooperation is the key component for better personality as well as prevent from individuality.

To sum up, both cooperation and competition have their own advantages. However, I tend to think that cooperation should be encouraged more in children.

Some people believe that using air transport to support exporting fruit and vegetables to countries where they cannot be grown or are out of season is a positive development. However, other people argue that this reason is not justified for achieving this purpose.

有些人认为，利用空运来支持向无法种植或不合时令的国家出口水果和蔬菜是一项积极的发展。然而，另一些人则认为这个行为不合理。

One the positive side, supporters of this development say that exporting fruit and vegetables with air has opened up markets which encourage positive development for countries. For example, for local farmers in many poor countries, this will be able to improve their income and standard of life qualities if they have opportunity to sell their goods to faraway foreign markets with high prices instead of producing staple crops for local market with low prices or their own consumption. As a result, farmers become more independent and do not depend on government's aid.

However, a negative view to this development is the impact on the environment. As we know that in this day and age one of the biggest problems around world about earth is global warming and burning of fossil fuels in the form oil of plane is one of main factors contributing global warming. To illustrate, over transporting million tonnes of food every day by air transport can make this problem to be more complex. This is because from one flight, air transport can release large amount of Carbon Dioxide and other gases into environment. Consequently, climate change in our earth cannot be avoid if this trend continuous.

To sum up, I would argue that there is no justifications for method of exporting fruit and vegetables with air. Even though many benefits can be taken from this method especially for local farmers in poor countries, saving earth from further environmental damages is more essential. Therefore, for overcoming this problem United Nations should release international trade regulation so that it can control and protect over using air transport.

Many scientists believe that genetic characteristics have more influence on the human’s personality than some experiences in life. Although genetics has some effect on our characters, I believe that the influence of life experience is more significant, and the following essay will discuss this in details.

On the one hand, it is true that everyone is unique, as they are born with different characteristics. While some people are born with an easy going character, others might be born with a melancholic one. People could not choose their genetic characters, and these characters will develop more as they get adults. Therefore many experts believe that genetic characters have a significant effect on a person’s identity.

On the other hand, other people believe that experiences in life have more influence in our life than genetic characters. Communities, family condition, education and work experiences have a deeper effect on a person’s character. For example, a person might be born as a sanguine person, but raise in a broken home family. As a consequence, he could become a pessimistic person when he grew up. Another example is that a man might be a positive person, but as he spent so much time with negative friends, he could become as just one them.

In conclusion, I agree that genetic characters have some influence on a person’s personality, but I think that life experiences are giving more significant influence to our personality. Therefore it is important for us to be selective in choosing the place to live, workplace and friends.

The factories and industries which are manufacturing these goods are often attributed to deteriorating the natural environment. The causes are many and there are some efficient solutions that can prevent this damage to a great extent and this essay deals with these issues and solutions.

To provide the spaces required for this overwhelming number of factories, trees and forests are being cut. Sometimes agricultural fields are being used to build such factories. This has a direct impact on the environment. Furthermore, almost every factory is contributing to the global warming and polluting the air. Factories often consume natural resources and emit chemical wastages to water. This is polluting the water and threatening the very existence of the natural ecosystem.

The consumer products like cars, electronic devices and luxury items directly contribute to the temperature increase and greenhouse effect.

The solutions to this problem have to be very efficient and long term. One such solution could be educating people to be frugal while purchasing goods. Governments should strictly control the location of factories and the amount of wastages those factories emit. Then, establishing factories near rivers, lakes, fertile agricultural lands should be banned. On top of that, eco-friendly alternative fuels should be introduced and using solar power for offices and industries should be compulsory. Some other solutions like waste recycling, imposing heavy taxes on luxury items, use of disposable packaging materials and mass tree plantation projects should be in place. Finally, factories and consumer products selling organisations should be forced to participate in tree plantation.
